1. About this comp
This AFL tipping competition (the Comp) is run by Wimmera Mallee News Group (WMN). By creating an account and participating, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Eligibility
- The Comp is intended for people in the Wimmera Mallee.
- We may require an Australian mobile number, a local postcode, and/or approval to keep the Comp local.
- We may refuse, suspend, or remove entries that appear to be outside the intended region or otherwise not in the spirit of the Comp.
3. How tipping works
- You can submit or update tips up until each match locks out.
- A lockout time is shown in the app. Late changes may not be saved.
- The ladder is based on tips recorded in the system.
4. Fair play
- One person should only have one account. Don’t create duplicate accounts.
- Don’t try to bypass eligibility checks (for example by using a fake postcode).
5. Privacy + data
To run the Comp we collect basic details such as your name, mobile number, postcode, and (optional) a photo.
- Your display name and photo (if provided) may appear on the leaderboard and in printouts.
- Your phone number and email are used for account and Comp administration.
- If you opt in, we may contact you using the consent options you choose.
6. Changes + availability
- We can change these terms, scoring rules, or features at any time to keep the Comp running smoothly.
- The service is provided “as is”. Outages or mistakes can happen; we’ll do our best to fix issues quickly.
